White Chocolate Walnut Blondies

I had the day off from work today…which basically means I had time to bake. 🙂 Blondies are like brownies minus the chocolate and this recipe adds a punch with the crunch from the walnuts and the creamy sweetness of the white chocolate chips. I think I could have used 2 cups of flour instead of 2.5, but that’s an experiment for later.

  • 10 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until each are combined. Add vanilla and salt. Mix together flour, baking powder, walnuts, and white chocolate. Stir into butter mixture until thoroughly combined, but not over mixed.

Spread into a greased 9 by 13 pan, bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool, slice, and serve!
