Cooking wasn’t always something I loved to do, but food has always been a central part of my life. Healthy eating, trying new cuisines, and breaking bread with family and friends have always been a key component of everyday life. I didn’t really start enjoying cooking for myself until my early 20s. I realized how much control I had over what I put into my body and how much fun there was in experimenting in the kitchen. Now, it’s something I love to do and a part of my life that creates harmony and allows me to decompress from life and work. I’ve been lucky to have some great cooks in my life – my grandmother, my father, my brother, friends, roommates. Few of the recipes I make are 100% original. I’m still a young cook so I take my inspiration from those people and from the many food blogs google and pinterest have connected me to. I give credit where I can. All the photos are mine. 🙂

In 2012, I started following a paleo/primal lifestyle so my food has drastically changed since.

Y’all are making me very hungry and really proud to be associated with people that are openly expressing their passion for food, each other, and life….”at the same damn time.”
